For years, we have dreamed of creating a place where hope begins early — where children in Migori County can learn, grow, and build a foundation strong enough to change their future.
Today, that dream is becoming reality.
Take Heart has officially secured land in the heart of the village and broken ground on HOPA Frier Academy, a primary school that will begin with Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1. This campus will also include Sam’s House of Compassion, expanding our ability to care for vulnerable children and families holistically — academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
As our organization has grown, so have the needs of the community we serve. In a region where many families live on less than $2 a day and nearly half of children are not enrolled in school, access to education is not guaranteed — it is a daily fight. This capital campaign is our upstream response. We are not only supporting students one by one — we are building a place where transformation can begin for generations.
This project is the result of years of prayer, partnership with local leaders, and government approval. It reflects a shared vision: a thriving community where children are educated, families are strengthened, and faith flourishes.
We are pursuing this bold vision with deep faith and unwavering commitment. By establishing HOPA Frier Academy and Sam’s House of Compassion, we are laying the foundation for generational change — rooted in truth, grace, and hope.
